Easy Apple Dumplings 
2 apples(I usually use Gala or Granny Smith apples), peeled and sliced 
1 stick of butter 
1 cup of sugar 
1 cup of water (or some folks use 7 Up or milk) 
1 can of crescent rolls 
cinnamon/sugar (optional) 
Preheat oven to 350.  Combine water, butter, and sugar in saucepan and
bring to a boil.  Roll out the crescent rolls flat, place apple slices
on it, roll up and place in a sprayed (Pam) casserole dish.  Pour
sugar/water/butter mixture over rolls.  Sprinkle with cinnamon/sugar.
Bake for 30 minutes.
