Chili Con Carne with Tomatoes

  1 pound ground beef
  2 medium onions, chopped (about 1 cup)
  1 cup chopped green pepper
  1 can (1 pound 12 ounces) tomatoes
  1 can (8 ounces) tomato sauce
  2 tsp chili powder
  1 tsp salt
  1/8 tsp cayenne red pepper
  1/8 tsp paprika
  1 can (15 1/2 ounces) kidney beans, drained

  Cook and stir the ground beef, onion, and green pepper in a large skillet 
until the meat is brown and onion is tender.  Drain off the fat.  Stir in 
the remaining ingredients excpet the kidney beans.  Heat to boiling.  Reduce 
the heat.  Cover and simmer for two hours, stirring occasionally - or - cook 
uncovered for about 45 minutes.  Stir in the kidney beans and heat through. 
Yield: about 4 or 5 one cup servings.
