ONE BOWL CASHEW CARAMEL BROWNIES 6 oz semisweet baking chocolate, chopped 1/4 cup unsalted butter 2/3 cup sugar 2 eggs 1 tsp vanilla 1 cup flour Pinch salt 1/2 cup unsalted cashews, coarsely chopped 6 oz milk chocolate caramel baking chips Heat oven to 350 degrees. Line a 9 inch square baking pan with foil, leaving extra foil on 2 side edges. Place chopped chocolate and butter in a microwave bowl. Microwave on high for 1 min. Stir and microwave for an additional 30 seconds. Stir until smooth. Whisk sugar, eggs and vanilla into chocolate mixture. Stir in flour and salt until incorporated. Fold in chips and nuts. Spoon batter into pan. Bake 22 min. or until done. Remove from oven and cool briefly. Use the overhanging foil to lift brownies from pan. Cut into 16 squares. MAKES 16 SERVINGS.
