Growing up we used to have fried hominy,, never had it  this way but it sure

Hominy-Beef Bake

2 lbs. ground beef

3 medium onions,  chopped

16 oz. can tomatoes, undrained

16 oz. can whole white  hominy, drained

16 oz. can whole kernel corn, drained

16 oz. can  cream style corn

2 (8 oz.) cans tomato sauce

1.25 oz. pkg. chili  mix

6 oz. pkg. corn tortillas, cut up

Brown ground beef and onion  in a skillet; drain off excess fat.

Combine with remaining ingredients.  Put into a 4-quart casserole.

Bake, covered, at 300 for 2  hours.
