Hi All, I haven't been on the list this week. I went on vacation with my sister to Minnesota.
She has been asking me for several years to go to The Mall of America with her--she had never been--and I finally agreed. We had a big adventure at the airport--our flight was canceled because there was a problem with air pressure. The second flight we were booked on turned out to not happen because they send a smaller plane than was anticipated. The third plane was full with a wait list of about 20 names. We got bumped to a different airline and routed through a different city. That was the flight we would have been on but when we got to the gate to wait for our flight she saw where a direct flight to Minnesota was boarding just then. So we asked to be changed to go on that flight and it worked out. But what a hassle. Vacation was good. We walked and walked. The mall was kind of neat with an amusement park "Camp Snoopy" right in the middle of the mall and trees and flowering plants. We got to go into both St. Paul and downtown Minneopolis. And we went to the cacino for a few hours. So that was that. I just thought I'd share. Now it's back to the normal routine and it will take a few days for me to get caught up with the messages in my inbox.
