BEANS PEAS AND POTATOES
3 cups fresh green beans cut into 2-inch  lengths
2 cups fresh peas
6 small new potatoes scrubbed and  quartered
Evaporated milk
2 tablespoons butter
1 teaspoon salt
1  teaspoon freshly ground black pepper

Place green beans in a covered pot with 2 inches of water then  cook
over medium heat until beans are tender-crisp then add peas and  cook
slowly for 5 minutes. Add potatoes and cook until potatoes are  just
done. When vegetables are cooked add small can of evaporated  milk,
butter, salt and pepper then heat thoroughly but do not  boil.
