Angel Pie
4 1/2 tablespoons cornstarch
3/4 cup sugar
1 1/2 cup boiling water
Pinch of salt
3 egg whites beaten stiff
3 tablespoons of sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla
Mix together first 4 ingredients. Beat the egg whites until
stiff and gently beat in the sugar and vanilla. Gently fold the
egg white mixture into the first ingredient mixture and pour into
a baked pie shell. Top with whipped cream.
Good friends are hard to find, harder to leave, and impossible to forget.
