I'm going to give this exactly as Leeta gave it to me. She died in 2002. She never owned a computer that used the internet, but I'm sure she would have really enjoyed it and would be a bit surprised that I've got a computer.
Macaroni And Cheese Cook and drain an 8-ounce boxof elbow macaroni. Grate one large block of cheddar cheese. I think that would be the bars of cheese that you buy that are about eight ounces. (I use sharp but you can use whatever you prefer). In large bowl, place cooked macaroni, half the grated cheese, and a stick of butter or margarine, either melted in the microwave or broken into pieces. Salt and pepper to taste can be added and set the bowl aside. In a smaller bowl, place a cup of milk and one egg. Beat well and pour the egg mixture into the macaroni mixture. Mix well. Pour into casserole. Use about a 2-quart baking dish. Top with the rest of the cheese.
