Faith Hill's Holiday Album Arrives Sept. 16 Mon. June 16.2008 5:26 PM EDT Faith Hill's Christmas album, Joy to the World, will be released Sept. 16, it was announced Monday (June 16). Ten of the 11 tracks are holiday standards, including "What Child Is This," "O Holy Night," "Santa Claus Is Coming to Town" and "Winter Wonderland." The album includes one new song, "A Baby Changes Everything," written by Nashville songwriters Tim Nichols, Craig Wiseman and K.K. Wiseman. The project features the Nashville Symphony and two London-based choirs -- Metro Voices and the London Oratory School Boys Choir. Orchestrations were provided by Grammy-winning conductor and arranger David Campbell, whose credits include Hill's "Cry" and projects with Paul McCartney, the Rolling Stones, Mariah Carey and others. "I had a very clear vision for the type of Christmas album that I wanted to make, indicative of the big band orchestras of the '40s and '50s, with a full complement of horns, strings, woodwinds, percussion and chorales," Hill said. "David's orchestrations were a gift. They embodied everything that I could have imagined -- unique and beautiful, and yet they seem as though they were always intended for these songs." Hill co-produced the album with Dann Huff and Byron Gallimore.

June 16.2008 5:26 PM EDT The recent Toby Keith & Friends Celebrity Golf Classic in Oklahoma set a new record by raising $709,000 for Ally's House, a nonprofit organization that helps families dealing with childhood cancer. Exceeding last year's total of $500,000, Keith has raised more than $2.3 million for the charity since establishing the golf tournament five years ago. More than 750 people attended the weekend of golfing, music and a silent auction. The year's top bid of $35,000 was received for dinner with Keith. Memorabilia was also donated by George Strait, Carrie Underwood, Loretta Lynn and Tom Hanks and sports greats Tiger Woods, Brett Favre, LeBron James, Andre Agassi, Tony Stewart, Peyton Manning, Troy Aikman and Nolan Ryan. The event benefits Ally's House, an organization named for Allison Webb, who died at age 2 after battling kidney cancer. She is the daughter of Scott Webb, an original member of Keith's band. "I knew we could make a difference with Ally's House, but it really is even bigger than I'd hoped," Keith said. "We've helped a ton of families, and we're proud that we have never had to turn away an Oklahoma family that needs help." Sara Evans Weds Jay Barker During Ceremony Near Nashville Sun.
