CHEDDAR MASHED POTATOES

1 1/2 pounds russet potatoes, peeled and  cubed
1/2 cup milk
2 tbs unsalted butter
1 cup shredded Cheddar  cheese

In saucepot, bring potatoes and enough salted water to cover to a  boil. Cook 
15 min. or until tender. Drain. In saucepan, cook milk and butter 2  min. or 
until butter melts and mixture is heated through. Mash together milk  mixture 
and potatoes. Stir in cheese. Season with salt. MAKES 6  SERVINGS.*
