Ham and Cream Sauce

Ingredients
2 slices ham
1/2 onion
1 dash garlic powder
1 dash pepper
2 tablespoons margarine or butter
2 tablespoons flour
1 cup milk
12 ounces egg noodles
1 tablespoon oil
1/2 cup frozen peas
Cube ham slices - hopefully these are thick ham slices. Chop onions. Fry
onions in oil until slightly softened.
Place margarine in frying pan on medium heat. When this bubbles, add
flour and mix thoroughly. Add milk and stir until sauce thickens. Add
ham and onions and frozen peas. Add spices.
Prepare egg noodles as per directions on the package. Egg noodles get
done pretty quick so you might want to keep a close eye on these
fellows.
When egg noodles are soft, strain in calendar. Flop noodles on plate,
pour on sauce, you're ready to eat.
