FRUIT TART
CRUST:
1 package Duncan Hines Gold Sugar Cookie Mix or 1 roll of frozen cookie
mix. Follow package instructions for mix and put on round pizza pan and bake
until golden brown at 375 degrees for about 10 minutes for cookie mix and about
20 minutes if using frozen mix. Set aside to cool. Arrange on serving dish.
FILLING:
8 oz. lite cream cheese
8 oz. Cool Whip
Mix well in electric mixer. Spread over cooled crust.
GLAZE:
4 1/2 tsp. cornstarch
1/2 c. sugar
Dash of salt
1/2 c. orange juice
Mix in saucepan and bring to boil, boil for 1 minute. Cool in
refrigerator. When cooled about 10 minutes, brush over fruit with a pastry
brush after fruit is displayed on shell. See directions below.
FRUIT:
4 kiwi fruit, peel and slice
1 can sliced peaches
Fresh strawberries or other berries, stem and slice lengthwise
Over baked shell, spread cream cheese and Cool Whip mixture.
Arrange kiwi fruit in circular fashion around edge.
Next arrange circular peach display.
Arrange the strawberry display in center of shell.
Be creative as you like arranging fruit keeping color in mind and portion
servings.
Glaze all fruit well to prevent discoloring of fruit while storing.
