US NAVY BEAN SOUP

  2 C. Navy Beans soaked over night
  3 Qts. Water
  1 1/2 lb. ham
  1/4 C. chopped Celery
  1 md. chopped onion
  seasoning to your taste.

  Cook beans and ham,and celery uncovered 2 1/2 hours. Remove the ham and 
cut in smaller pieces. Add the onions and cook till soup starts to thicken. 
Season with pepper. I like mine with Cornbread.
