Taco Soup

1 to 1-1/2 lb. ground beef
1/2 c. chopped onion
1 29-oz. can stewed tomatoes or diced tomatoes
2 16-oz. cans kidney beans, drained
1 16-oz. can tomato sauce
1 envelope taco seasoning mix
Shredded Cheddar cheese
Corn chips

        Cook ground beef and onion until brown. Drain fat. Add taco
seasoning, tomatoes, tomato sauce and kidney beans. Simmer, covered
for 15 minutes. Serve--top with cheese and chips.

        Makes six servings.
