FRESH APPLE CINNAMON MUFFINS 

1 1/2 c. flour
1/2 c. dry Carnation non-fat dry milk
1/3 c. granulated sugar
2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. salt
1 egg
1/2 c. water
1 c. peeled, finely chopped apple
1/4 c. melted butter

Combine flour, dry non-fat milk, granulated sugar, baking powder, 1 teaspoon 
cinnamon and salt in a large bowl. Beat egg with water. Stir in apple and 
butter.
Add all at once to flour mixture. Stir just until moistened (batter will be 
very stiff). Fill 12 greased 2 1/2 inch muffin cups 2/3 full. Bake in moderate
oven (375 degrees) for 15 to 20 minutes. Test; if done, remove from pan 
immediately. Makes 1 dozen.  Enjoy.
