SUGAR COOKIES WITH ICING
1 pkg. yellow cake mix
1 egg
3/4 c. Crisco, melted & cooled
2 tbsp. milk
Combine ingredients in bowl. Put into refrigerator for 2 hours. Preheat
oven at 350 degrees. Roll chilled dough out on lightly floured surface to 1/4
inch thickness. Cut into shapes with floured cookie cutters. Place on greased
cookie sheet. Bake for 15 minutes at 350 degrees or until edges start to brown.
Makes 5-6 dozen medium cookies.
ICING:
3 oz. pkg. cream cheese, softened
1/2 c. powdered sugar
Dash of salt
1/4 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. milk
Blend ingredients together until smooth. Add food coloring if desired.
Spread over cooled cookies. Enjoy.
