On the Lighter Side...

CD Sleeves

My daughter Lili was five when she received a foam CD holder with
plastic sleeves or all her music CDs. I explained to her that CDs are
sensitive to light and heat, so she should not leave the holder in
the sun. During our home addition, the electrician was working in the
backyard and Lili had gone to play in the sandbox, leaving her new CD
holder on the patio table. My wife saw it and told Lili she was going
to put it in the house. Lili stood up in the sandbox and said,
"Mommy, make sure you put it where the sun doesn't shine!" The
electrician took a break.

Good Answer

A young couple came into the church office to fill out a pre-marriage
questionnaire form. The young man, who had never talked to a pastor
before, was quite nervous and the pastor tried to put him at ease.
When they came to the question, "Are you entering this marriage of
your own free will?" There was a long pause. Finally, the girl looked
over at the apprehensive young man and said, "Put down 'yes.'"

Oops

After our friends were married, they left the church and were
disappointed to see that their car looked completely normal. No one
had decorated it with "Just Married" signs or tin cans or balloons or
anything at all. "Disappointed" was not, however, the word used by
the pastor who had just married them. His nearby car was very similar
in make, model and color as the groom's vehicle.

A single candle can illuminate an entire room. A true friend lights up
an entire lifetime. Thanks for the bright lights of your friendship.
