PEANUT BUTTER-CHOCOLATE BONBONS
2 c. powdered sugar
1 c. graham cracker crumbs
3/4 c. pecans, chopped
1/2 c. coconut
1/2 c. butter
1/2 c. peanut butter
1 1/2 c. semi-sweet chocolate pieces
3 tbsp. shortening
In large bowl combine sugar, graham cracker crumbs, pecans and coconut.
Melt butter and peanut butter and blend until mixture is moistened. Shape
mixture into 1 inch balls.
In another small saucepan, over low heat, melt chocolate pieces with
shortening. Spear balls on wooden pick, dip individually into chocolate mixture
until coated. Place balls on waxed paper, chill to set. Store candies tightly
covered between layers of waxed paper in a cool place. Makes 4 dozen.
