TEA TIME TASSIES   

      1 (3 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
      1/2 c. butter
      1 c. flour

      Blend cream cheese and butter. Stir in 1 cup flour. Chill slightly and 
shape into 2 dozen 1 inch balls. Place in 1 3/4 inch muffin cups. Press dough 
on bottom and sides of cups.

      FILLING:

      Beat together:

      3/4 c. brown sugar
      1 tsp. vanilla
      1 tbsp. butter
      1 egg
      Dash of salt
      2/3 c. chopped nuts

      Pour filling into unbaked cups. Bake at 325 degrees for 25 minutes. Cool. 
Remove from muffin cups.
