Crockpot Basic Kielbasa & Sauerkraut 1 Can, Jar or bag of Sauerkraut 1 Teaspoon Caraway Seeds 1 package Kielbasa or Smoked Sausage (about 1 to 2 lbs.) 1/2 Cup water. Drain Sauerkraut, add to crockpot. sprinkle with caraway seeds, add water. Cut kielbasa into 3 inch pieces, place on top of Sauerkraut mixture. Cover crock pot and cook on low setting for about 8 hours.
