Ok... I*m gonna try and give this to ya*ll the way My sister-in-law gave it to me. Fried Okra Salad First you make up your *Dressing* This connsist of: 1/4 cup Sugar 1/4 cup Red Wine Vinegar 1/4 cup Cooking Oil You can heat this up a little if you like... just to melt the sugar. Fry up you a bag of Breaded okra... Drain Fry up about 1/2 lb of Bacon... Lay it out on Paper towel to drain... This you crumble up to put in with your okra. If you use a big bag of *Store bought okra* Use 1 lb. of bacon Now cut up one bell pepper, Green Onion to taste, and a good sized Tomato or 2 small ones. Put the Bell Pepper and Onion in when the okra is almost done. Tomato goes in last after you turn off the heat to the okra. Heat from the hot skillet will cook tomato just enough. Pour your Dressing on and stir it all up. You can put it in pretty serving bowl if you like... With my bunch we didn*t even bother... It didn*t last long enough to warrant the energy of washing the extra dish. LOL Feed your folks....go straight back to the kitchen and start on new batch... They*ll probally be wanting more.... That is if ya*ll like okra. Hope ya*ll enjoy, Phyllis
