SWEET POTATO COOKIES
1/2 c. butter
1 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. milk
1 c. mashed sweet potatoes
2 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. salt
2 beaten eggs
2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. allspice
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. nuts (optional)
Cream butter. Add sugar and eggs. Then, add spices, potatoes, flour, milk
(a bit at a time), and nuts. Roll or drip on a greased cookie sheet. Bake at
350 degrees for 15 minutes.
