Bacon Grease Cookies (Old Recipe)

2 eggs
1 tsp vanilla
3/4 c bacon grease
1 c sugar
2 c flour, divided
1/2 tsp baking soda
1 tsp allspice
1/2 c raisins
Cream together bacon grease & sugar until smooth. Add egga & vanilla & beat
well, until mixed. Measure 1 c unsifted flour & sift together with baking soda
& allspice. Add to creamed mixture. Stir until well mixed. Mix in remaining
flour a little at a time. Add raisins & mix well. Drop by heaping teaspoonsufl
of dough onto ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 350°F 12 min or until lightly
browned. Cookies will be soft to touch when removed from oven. Serve with
coffee.
3 1/2-4 dozen 2" cookies
