Football Cake 1 pack Betty Crocker® Cake Mix - any flavour Water Vegetable oil Eggs 1 tub Betty Crocker® Vanilla Premium Icing Liquorice strings Angelica strips
1. Preheat oven to 160°C*/325°F/Gas Mark 3. 2. Grease and flour two 2-pint heat-proof basins. 3. Prepare the cake mix as directed on the pack, using water, oil and eggs. Pour the batter into the basins. 4. Bake for about 1¼ hours or until a cocktail stick inserted into the centre comes out clean. Cool for 15 minutes. Remove the cakes from the basins - place rounded side up on a cooling rack. Cool completely. 5. Place one cake rounded side down on a serving plate. Spread with frosting around the side. Place the second cake, rounded side up, on the frosted cake to make a round shape. Cover with remaining frosting. 6. Decorate with liquorice strings (cut in half if thick) to make pattern on ball. Complete the decoration with angelica cut to look like grass. * For fan oven, refer to oven manufacturer`s instructions. A single candle can illuminate an entire room.
