We are back. Frank has an 8 cm. characinoid tumor on the lower part of his colon.
He has to go back up to OSU March 29th to have a 3 day body scan test. The first day they put in the dye, the second day they do pictures of his entire body to see if they find anymore tumors, because they can spread, then the third day, they see if there are anymore tumors, and then they take the dye from his body with an enema. Then, he goes to Columbus again to get the surgery scheduled and the surgeon will tell us the finds of this scan that he is going to do. The surgeon said that Frank could possibly only have to have the colostomy bag for about 4 months, just until everything heals inside, then it would be removed. We are really tired. We were at the clinic for 4 hours. Take care.
