POLISH APPLE CAKE (Layer Cake) 3 c. flour (not sifted) 2 1/2 c. sugar 1 c. oil 4 eggs, unbeaten 1/2 tsp. salt Juice from (1) orange 2 1/2 tsp. vanilla 3 tsp. baking powder Mix all above together. 2ND BOWL: 2 tsp. cinnamon 5 tbsp. brown sugar 8-10 apples, sliced thin 2/3 c. raisins Mix all above together. Grease and flour tube pan. Put 1/3 batter from 1st bowl on bottom of pan, then put 1/2 layer of apple mixture from 2nd bowl. Repeat. Last row of apples on top. Bake 350 degrees for 50 minutes.
