COMPLETELY FRESH APPLE CAKE
1/2 cup shortening or oil
2 cups sugar
2 eggs
2 cups flour
2 teaspoons baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 teaspoons cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
4 cups apples, chopped
1 cup nuts, chopped
1 cup raisins, cooked
Cream shortening:
Add sugar and beat until fluffy. Add eggs; beat. Combine all dry ingredients
and
add to egg mixture. Stir in apples, nuts and raisins. Pour into greased 9x13-
inch
pan. Bake for 45 minutes at 350 degrees. Enjoy.
