Oriental Wild Rice Pilaf One quarter cup vegetable oil 1 onion, chopped 1 cup Chinese cabbage, shredded 1 cup wild rice 1 cup white rice 4 cloves garlic, minced 2 cups chicken broth One quarter cup sherry Salt and pepper to taste Heat oil in a large saucepan and saute onion and cabbage for 5 minutes. Add rice, garlic, chicken broth, sherry and salt and pepper. Bring to a boil, reduce heat and simmer for 20-25 minutes or until all liquid is absorbed. The Skinny: Use fat free chicken broth.
