Apples with rum au gratin 
Serves: 6
INGREDIENTS
3 Granny Smith apples
1 cup (120g) flour
¾ cup (150g) sugar
3 eggs
1/2 cup (125ml) milk
1 tablespoon butter
4 tablespoons rum
PREPARATION
Grease base and sides of an ovenproof dish and sprinkle with sugar.
Wash, peel, core and slice apples. 
Arrange them onto greased dish and cover with a thin layer of sugar. 
Whisk eggs slightly. Fold in remaining sugar and flour, alternately with
milk and rum. 
Pour mixture onto apples and cook in a moderate oven for about 15
minutes. 
Serve warm.
