Boy did I find out about oil and water not mixing back in November, 1999. I was frying I forget what and my blood sugar dropped and I got confused and put the hot oil-filled frying pan into the sink where cold water was running and did it flare up. I had to call the fire department and they put it out. There was damage and loss of personal things but for the mostpart not much harm. I and my two dogs got out safely. The kitche and diningroom had to be repainted, new countertops put in and woodwork replaced but best of all I and the dogs were safe.n Alberta and Miss Ivy
