Blueberry Grunt

3 c. blueberries
2 tbsp lemon juice
1/2 c. sugar
1/4 tsp cinnamon
1/8 tsp nutmeg

Topping:
1 c. flour
2 tbsp sugar
1-1/2 tsp double acting baking powder
1/4 c. margarine
1/2 c. milk
1 egg, slightly beaten

Preheat oven to dg375.

In 8-inch square baking dish combine blueberries, lemon juice, sugar,
cinnamon and nutmeg.  Bake 5 minutes; remove from oven.

Increase temperature to dg425.

Topping:  Meanwhile, in mixing bowl combine flour, sugar and baking
powder.With pastry blender, cut in margarine.  Combine milk and egg.
Mix into dry ingredients just until moistened.  Spread over hot
berries.  Bake for 20 minutes.  Serve warm.

Yield 6 servings.
