CHEWY CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIES 1/2 c. butter 1/2 c. brown sugar 1/4 c. white sugar 1/2 tsp. vanilla 1 egg 1 c. plus 2 tbsp. flour 1/2 tsp. baking soda 1 sm. pkg. chocolate chips 1/2 tsp. salt 1/2 c. nuts (optional) Mix well and bake at 325 degrees for about 6 minutes or until barely turning brown. Enjoy.
