Coffeecake 1-1/2 c. sour cream 1 tsp baking soda 2 tsp baking powder 1/2 lb. butter 2-1/2 c. sugar 3 eggs 1-1/2 tsp vanilla 1-1/2 tsp salt 4 tsp cinnamon 1 c. chopped walnuts 3 c. sifted flour
Combine sour cream and baking soda. Let stand 1-1/2 hours. Cream butter in mixing bowl. Gradually add 1-1/2 cups sugar. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well. Beat in vanilla and add sour cream mixture. Resift flour, baking powder and salt and blend into batter. Combine 1 cup of sugar, cinnamon and nuts for topping. Spread batter into springform pan in layers. Sprinkle in nut mixture in alternate layers. Also sprinkle nut mixture on top of cake. Bake at dg350 for 1 hour.
