I just saw on a cooking show yesterday how you put the coals in the grill. You only put them on one side, that way when ya cook your meat, cook one over the coals turning the meat so it doesn't burn, then ya put it on the non-coal side and close the lid. This will allow it to continue to heat cook. We use only charcoal here, we have a gas grill Tim won in a drawing,, real nice Sears model, but we hardly ever use it.
