This is such a simple recipe. Very good on a cold winter night with homemade biscuits or cornbread. I have a touch of Irish from moms side of the family,but my kids and Tim hates the smell of cabbage cooking and of course they don't eat it either. 2 large cans V8 1 small head cabbage, shredded 1 pound ground beef , browned and drained 1 small onion, chopped and sautéed in butter until translucent 1 1/4 cups uncooked white rice salt and pepper to taste Mix all ingredients in a large stock pot and cook until everything is hot
