Banana-Wheat Quick Bread

1-1/4 c. all-purpose flour
1/2 c. whole wheat flour
1 c. sugar
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp salt
1-1/2 c. mashed ripe bananas (3 medium)
1/4 c. butter or margarine, softened
2 tbsp orange juice
1 egg
1/4 to 1/2 c. raisins

Preheat oven to dg350.  Grease and flour bottom only of 9- by 5-inch loaf pan.

In large bowl, combine all ingredients except raisins.  Beat 3 minutes
at medium speed.  Fold in raisins.  Pour batter into prepared pan.
Bake 55 to 65 minutes or until tests done.  Cool in pan ten minutes.
Remove from pan and cool completely.  Wrap tightly and store in
refrigerator.

Yield 16 servings.
