Orange Nut Bread

2 tbsp shortening
1 c. honey
1 egg
1-1/2 tbsp grated orange rind
3/4 c. orange juice
2-1/4 c. flour
2-1/2 tsp baking powder
1/8 tsp baking soda
1/8 tsp salt
3/4 c. chopped nuts

Cream shortening and honey thoroughly.  Add beaten eggs and orange

rind.  Sift dry ingredients and add alternately with orange juice.  Add

chopped nuts.  Pour into a greased loaf pan which has been lined with

waxed paper.  Bake at dg325 for one hour, or until loaf is nicely

browned and begins to shrink from pan.
