Chex Muddy Buddies 9 c. corn, wheat, rice or chocolate Chex cereal 1 c. semisweet chocolate chips 1/2 c. peanut butter 1/4 c. butter or margarine 1 tsp vanilla 1-1/2 c. powdered sugar
In large bowl measure cereal and set aside. In a 1-quart microwaveable bowl, microwave chocolate chips, peanut butter and butter, uncovered, on high, for one minute. Stir. Microwave 30 seconds longer or until mixture can be stirred smooth. Stir in vanilla. Pour mixture over cereal, stirring until evenly coated. Pour into a 2-gallon zip top bag. Add powdered sugar. Seal bag and shake until well-coated. Spread onto waxed paper to cool. Store in airtight container in refrigerator.
