your co-list owner is going overseas for a while and leaving the list in the
more than capable hands of Trudy (:})
I am going to London and - although I have plenty of other things to do - will
hook up with my old mates in the Labour Left. Through this I hope to get some
publicity for the cause in the UK, where the left in particular doesn't know
squat about Aboriginal Australian issues. I will undoubtedly be drawing on the
list for some help with this.
I sincerley hope that this list has proved useful to you and that it will
continue to do so. From my experience of working with Aboriginal people I have
definitely learnt that things don't change overnight! So, if things get
frustrating, just remember that. We can all make a difference though - that's
what we're trying to do - and every little bit helps. Don't be afraid to voice
your ideas on this list. Don't think you 'don't know enough' and don't think
you're irrelevant - far from it.
