I wonder whether Viner, Baume, Chaney and Bonner actually continued to
vote Liberal after leaving parliament! The treatment which they all
received from the rest of the party for their stand on indigenous issues
(and other like matters) was according to all accounts , pretty
disgusting. To my mind, Wooldridge has a long, long way to go before he
can be put in the same company. His identity as a man of principle on the
small l liberal side of the party seems to have faded pretty sunbstantially
since he became a minister.
