Position vacant The Indigenous Social Justice Association (ISJA) has a position vacant for an Aboriginal Family Support Worker (part-time, 28 hours per week). SACS Award category 2. The aim of the position is to provide a family support service to Aboriginal families with the aim of preventing family breakdown and to improve parenting and family skills. Essential: Aboriginality Knowledge of issues surrounding ATSI families Demonstrated knowledge or skills in similar disciplines Good communication/organizational skills Very computer literate Own car (travel allowance as per SACS Award is provided) Highly regarded: Knowledge of the Mount Druitt/Bidwell area and community organizations within Tertiary qualifications or willingness to obtain Aboriginality is a genuine requirement under Section 14D of the Anti Discrimination Act, 1977 Written applications, addressing criteria, with two referees to be sent to The President, ISJA, PO Box K555, HAYMARKET NSW 1240, by Friday 14 January 2000.
