Thur, 6 Jan 2000 14:20 CDT LOCAL NEWS : South Australia Arrested protestor threatens to breach bail The leader of the Aboriginal protest on North Terrace says he intends to breach his bail conditions and return to the protest site following his early morning arrest today. Kevin Buzzacott was charged with failing to cease loitering, and he has been released on bail to appear in court on the 20 January. Bail conditions prohibit him from returning to the protest site, in the Prince Henry Gardens in front of Government House. Mr Buzzacott is also not allowed to light camp fires in the Adelaide City Council area. But he says he will return to the site. "I had to sign this to get out of there but I do not agree with this. I will go back up there sometime," Mr Buzzacott said. 2000 Australian Broadcasting Corporation ------------------------------------------------------- RecOzNet2 has a page @ http://www.green.net.au/recoznet2 and is archived at http://www.mail-archive.com/ To unsubscribe from this list, mail [EMAIL PROTECTED], and in the body of the message, include the words: unsubscribe announce or click here mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]?Body=unsubscribe%20announce This posting is provided to the individual members of this group without permission from the copyright owner for purposes of criticism, comment, scholarship and research under the "fair use" provisions of the Federal copyright laws and it may not be distributed further without permission of the copyright owner, except for "fair use."
