Adelaide Festival Opening
Friday March 3rd

Elder Park
The Australian Indigenous content of the Festival Opening Concert is
Warumpi Band and Onslaught.
Warumpi Band are one of the longest surviving
Indigenous bands - they did the original version of Christine Anu's hit,
"Island Home" and also "Blackfella, Whitefella".
Onslaught are a local three piece rock group, their message is about strength.
Also performing are Cool Heat Urban
Beat (US dance group performing at the Festival featuring African American
street dancers), Vika and Linda Bull, Paul Kelly and more.

Living Kultja 2000
The Aboriginal Sobriety Group presents Living kultja 2000.
Living Kultja 2000 is a free corroboree featuring Aboriginal dance, didge, live music
and Indigenous Arts.

Onsite food, stalls, including CFS Sausage sizzle, drinks and icecreams, bush foods

Workshops in Weaving, Aboriginal dance, [and more] will be held in BankSA marquee on
Sunday afternoon from 1-4pm call 82150088 for bookings.
Supported by BankSA, ATSIC and SA Tourism Commission.
