Hi Trudy,
It seems like the poll allows you to vote multiple times, so it wouldn't be
too difficult to skew it if you really tried, which means no-one's going to
take it too seriously in the first place anyway.
But I wouldn't be surprised if the result wasn't indicative of the general
public's attitude. There is a reason every state government beats the law
and order drum, and that is that it reads well in the electorate.
I wouldn't necessarily be blaming One Nation, or whatever they are calling
themselves now. It could well be a sign that, despite the media interest in
the subject, the task of selling the need to repeal these laws is only just
begun.
