Harmony Day celebrated with world music
The unique sights and sounds of world music will be used to celebrate
National Harmony Day at a FREE concert to be held at the South Bank
Piazza
on Sunday, March 19 from 2pm to 4.30pm.

The concert will feature Indigenous dance group Birri Gubba and Rochelle

Watson singer/songwriter from the Butchulla Birra Gubba people; other
acts
include the traditional Andean group Walisuma and Polynesian dancers and

drummers Te Atamira.

The Commonwealth and Queensland Governments are jointly sponsoring the
World Music Concert which is being organised by the Brisbane Ethnic
Music
and Arts Centre as a Living in Harmony initiative.
