Ian,
I understand and sympathise with your anger and sense of frustration. I
don't want the list to be without your contribution and don't want to
see you go. I am sorry that you don't feel you can keep deleting until
this issue has been resolved.
I was trying to get some more opinions or thoughts on how this could be
resolved and as you know, two opposing opinions have been expressed so
far.
No doubt, I will come under a great deal of pressure from some on the
list for not removing Karen forthwith in light of your decision to
leave. I like and respect you very much and for most people on this
list, as for me, it would be no contest. It would also be the easiest
way out for me but, unfortunately, I cannot make a decision that would
go so against what I believe in.
I think it may be time to ask Karen to explain exactly what she is here
for and what she hopes to contribute. Once that has been cleared up it
may be possible for us to go on and either incorporate her contribution
or ignore her so that we can do what we are here for. And that would
mean everyone!
I am asking you to stay a bit longer and help to resolve this. If you
really feel you can't, then I will respect your wishes.
