Hope all goes well with your medical tests. Hope they don't indicate
something too serious. And it will be a thrill for you to see your son
receive his Masters. This, of course, is also another opportunity to once
more thank you for the job you do with these newsclips.

Carolyn received her Ph.D. in March and it was quite an event: first we all
demonstrated outside against the imposition of individual workplace
agreements, secondly, as Carolyn was receiving her degree and the photos
were being taken the Vice-Chancellor put his arm around her shoulder. She
immediately told him to remove it. The poor old VC was so overcome that he
jerked his arm back and of course this made it obvious to everybody. She is
now an on campus hero.

The whole demo stirred the investiture up and will be remembered for a long
time. And we have the photos to prove it.
