  Dodson to speak at Echuca

Former Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander
  Commission commissioner Mick Dodson will
speak about reconciliation at the launch of a
special Koori education program in Echuca
  tomorrow.

Mr Dodson will open a new building for the
Victoria University program, Nyerna studies, to
encourage more young Koori students to
  complete higher education.

The course bases its teaching on the culture of
the community, and local stories and lore are an
  essential part of the curriculum.
