Little Johnny makes apologies

2.20pm (AEST) LITTLE Johnny today offered his apologies to every member of
the stolen generation.

"LJ", the artist-formerly-known-as-Pauline Pantsdown, also considerately
offered to step in and fill the gap whenever the Prime Minister felt a
little lost dealing "with all that embarrassing social policy stuff".
Little Johnny, who has risen from the ashes of satirist Simon Hunt's no
longer-needed Ms Pantsdown, was launched on the world today.

The breakdancing clubbing LJ let loose his debut single and video - I'm
Sorry - which digitally reassembles fragments of Prime Minister John
Howard's utterances into a funky, if at times senseless little ditty.

It ends with an apology to "every member of the stolen generation" and
declares "I'm Sorry, I don't know much history, guess I'm totally history
..."

Mr Hunt says he digitally compiled Mr Howard's utterances in an effort to
find "the apology within".

Pantsdown sent up controversial One Nation leader Pauline Hanson by joining
various recordings of her voice in the top 10 single, I Don't Like It, which
sold 30,000 copies and managed two nominations at last year's ARIA Awards.

The I'm Sorry video clip features a breakdancing Little Johnny moving Red
Hot Chilli peppers style, while asking if he is the genius of love.

It ends on the Sydney Harbour Bridge, where LJ paints the word sorry ABC
television style on the screen.

Mr Howard's office did not wish to comment.
