I agree wholeheartedly agree with the sentiments of your lawyer, especially
after enduring a fortnight long trial against myself for a professional
negligence. There were five QCs (and their juniors) lined up and only one
was on my side. It cost my insurance company $400,000 to get out of it. (Of
that $120,000 was legal expenses.) My QC gave me similar advice to your
lawyers after the case.
